Following two baptisms in February and April last year, this year our first one was on March 22nd. 

Living so close to a beautiful beach it is the perfect opportunity to witness our faith to the community as they walk along the promenade wondering what we are doing on the beach in less than the warm and inviting weather Gorleston is known for in the summer. 

Maia's Baptism 

What a Glorious Day...

The weather was amazing and although the sea was cold it was just a perfect day for Maia’s Baptism

Back at church Maia stood up in front of nearly 90 people and gave her testimony.

Derek presented Maia with a card from the church and a Bible containing the verse from Galatians 2:20 in the front cover:

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

After the service over 60 people stayed for the Bring and Share Lunch and enjoyed fellowship together - a perfect end to a perfect day. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day run smoothly
