Our Sunday Service

Cliff Park
Zoom-unity Church

Everyone's welcome so come and join us.

Our Sunday service begins at 10.30 am. You can join us virtually online via Zoom or from the 25th April in person.

Some of us will be meeting face to face at the school, others will be zooming in from home; wherever we are situated we will be one church and one congregation together. We will all be together for the same service no matter where we are watching or listening from.

Services are led by one of our worship leaders, and include sung worship, prayer, bible reading and a talk. At the end of each service there's a chance, for those who zoomed in, to chat with each other on Zoom in breakout rooms so grab a coffee, settle down in your favourite chair and join us.

You'll find details below on how to book a seat for the service in person or attend on Zoom below. If you don't have a webcam or are just feeling a bit shy, it's perfectly fine to join without appearing on screen. And if you don't have a device which can run Zoom, you can also listen to the service using your phone.

Attending in person

We will, as of 25th April, start to meet together in the school hall and this will continue whilst it is safe, and within the current guidelines, to do so.

If you would like to join us, and it is safe for you to attend, you can book a seat and come to a service at the school. For the sake of protecting yourselves and others, services at the school will be different from before and the following safety guidelines and restrictions will be in place:

  • Limited seating - There is a limit to the number of people who can attend in person on Sundays, therefore, you will have to email in advance to book a seat via our Contact Page. Households will be seated together, socially distanced from others. When you email please state the names of the people you are booking for in your household and their ages. You can only book for people in your household. Please note that NO children’s groups are currently running on Sunday mornings.

  • Seats will be confirmed - If you have successfully booked a seat for the service you will receive an email confirming this. If you do not receive a confirmation email please do not attend the school on Sunday morning as you will not be able to stay for the service.

  • Track & Trace - Everyone who attends in person will be required to submit their contact details for the Track & Trace system. If you are not willing for your contact details to be held in this way then please do not attend in person as you will not be able to stay for the service.

  • Face Masks - Face masks are compulsory for ALL attending the service. If you are not able to cover your mouth and nose with a mask please do not attend.

  • Arrival You are asked to arrive at 10.15am and to avoid queues you should wait in your car until you are asked by a steward to enter the school building. Entry to the hall will be via the main entrance. A one way system will be in place in the building. People will be on hand to guide you.

  • Exit – There is a one way system in place in the building you will be guided to the door by which you should leave after the service.

  • No Food & Drink - No refreshments will be provided. Please do not eat or drink during the service – you will be required to keep your mask on at all times.

  • Clean hands - Hand sanitiser will be available for everyone to use as they enter and leave the building.

  • No singing - You will be able to hear worship songs sung to you, however, the congregation are not allowed to join in with singing at present.

  • Keep to your own space - There will not be an opportunity to chat with other households whilst on the school premises. Households will keep to their own socially distanced space. Parents are to supervise young children with this at all times.

  • Don’t come if you feel ill If you feel unwell or have any Coronavirus symptoms do not attend the service even if you have booked to do so. You should follow the government/NHS guidelines for testing and self-isolating. Other members of your household who have booked to come to church should not attend either.

  • Please use the wipes provided to clean touch points when you enter and before you leave the toilet facilities.

These safety measures will be in place for your benefit and for that of the wider community so please stick to them. The Leadership Team is aware that we have a number of folk who worship with us who are deemed to be ‘vulnerable’ and so we would encourage anyone wanting to worship in the hall to consider their own vaccination status in regards to the safety of others as the vaccine offers protection not just to you, but also to those you worship with you.
