Our Sunday Service

Cliff Park
Zoom-unity Church

Everyone's welcome so come and join us.

Our Sunday service begins at 10.30 am.

You can join us virtually online via Zoom or in person.

Please see below the new guidelines in place from the 25th July.

Some of us will be meeting face to face at the school, others will be zooming in from home; wherever we are situated we will be one church and one congregation together. We will all be together for the same service no matter where we are watching or listening from.

Services are led by one of our worship leaders, and include sung worship, prayer, bible reading and a talk. At the end of each service there's a chance, for those who zoomed in, to chat with each other on Zoom in breakout rooms so grab a coffee, settle down in your favourite chair and join us.

There is no need now to book a seat for the service in person. You'll find details below on how to attend on Zoom below. If you don't have a webcam or are just feeling a bit shy, it's perfectly fine to join without appearing on screen. And if you don't have a device which can run Zoom, you can also listen to the service using your phone.

New Guidelines from Sunday 25th July

Guidelines from Sunday 25th July Please note Services may be outdoorsl

Prior to arrival

  • Check the weather forecast. A decision will be made by 9:00 am on the Sunday morning, as to whether the service will be held indoors.

  • Tracy will email out by 9:30 am if a decision to move indoors has been made.

On Sunday morning

  • Please aim to arrive by 10:15 if you can.

    • This will allow the Track and Trace Team to make sure your details are recorded and give you time to settle down comfortably on the field, ready for worship.

  • We will continue to ask attendees to check in (booking in advance is not necessary)

    • We hope that this will provide a level of reassurance for everyone to know they will be informed if someone in the service subsequently tests positive for Covid-19.

  • We will continue to provide sanitiser.

  • For those who wish to wear them, we will be providing lanyards with coloured badges – red, to indicate that you are still socially distancing, and green, to indicate that you are comfortable with others being near to you.

    • If choosing to wear one of these, please take the lanyard home. The badge colour can be changed any time you choose.

  • We will provide service sheets – please take them home afterwards to dispose of them

If on the field

  • Face coverings will not be compulsory but please respect those who feel they wish to wear them.

    • Please bring your own face covering. (We will endeavour to have a stock of masks available for anyone who forgets theirs and would like to wear one).

  • Singing will be permitted

  • We would ask that everyone respects each other and does not get too close to others without checking first that they are comfortable with this (please see the note about lanyards, above).

    • This is a simple but powerful way of making people feel safe

    • We will ask the worship leader to announce this from the front

If in the hall

  • We will continue to open doors and windows.

    • Ventilation is the best way of lessening the risk of the spread of Covid-19

    • In doing so, we will also be sharing the worship with our community

  • We will space chairs out as best we can to give more distance between members of the congregation.

  • We will leave the areas at the back and near the open doors available for those who are more vulnerable.

  • We will ask that attendees wear face coverings when indoors.

    • We will ask the worship leader to announce this from the front.

    • Please bring your own face covering. (We will endeavour to have a stock of masks available for anyone who forgets theirs).

    • It might not feel as free with a face covering on, but this is a good compromise to allow those who are anxious or vulnerable to feel safer and is more about protecting others, than protecting the wearer.

  • Singing (with a face covering on) will be permitted

  • We would ask that everyone respects each other and does not get too close to others without checking first that they are comfortable with this (please see the note about lanyards, above).
