Gorleston is located on the east coast just south of Great Yarmouth and is home to Cliff Park Community Church.

It was established twenty years ago as an Anglican/Baptist church plant and has grown into a lively and vibrant church who meet in the Cliff Park Junior School each Sunday. There are usually about one hundred adults and thirty children attending the service. The minister for the past sixteen years is Rev Mike Simm.

There are nine housegroups meeting each week and over 80% of the church attends one of them. And more than 60 people are in prayer partnerships meeting in pairs weekly to pray together.

Without its own building for midweek activities CPCC is known as a resourcing church. Its members are involved in different local initiatives and ministries such as CAP, Foodbank, Living Room (the Great Yarmouth Nightshelter), ID (youth ministry for local teenagers), and The Bridge which provides a weekly lunch for 60 marginalised people.

The church is currently considering the possibility of having a permanent building and base of its own, and thinking how it can help build community in Cliff Park and better serve the area .
