Crèche welcomes children up to the age of 4. Its purpose is twofold. Firstly to offer families an opportunity to come to church where parents can relax while their little one is cared for during the service. Secondly we seek to introduce the children to church in an interesting and enjoyable way.
Our activities try to reflect both the age and wide ability range within crèche. We have:

  • a large number of toys suitable for all ages;
  • child-friendly screens which offer opportunities for play
  • paper and crayons
  • books - some for children to enjoy a story and others to encourage them in a little "thank you" prayer.
  • musical instruments and try to include a time of singing favourite choruses and songs.

During their time the children have a drink and a biscuit. Our goal is to help children feel safe and happy within a caring Christian environment, and to help them look forward to Kidz Church.

If you have small children and feel crèche would be helpful for you, then please feel free to ring one of the leaders for a chat or to come along and join us in crèche where you are welcome to stay with your child(ren) as they get used to us.

Kidz Church Cool

What do we do?
We have a fun mix of Bible teaching, games, music, singing, craft activities and prayer all aimed to help children learn about and develop a close relationship with God.

Who can come?
All children are welcome from ages 4 to 10 years (i.e. Reception Year to Year 6)

When do we meet?
We meet during Sunday morning services 10.30 - 11.30 am
(except on 2nd Sundays in the month when there is an ‘All Age’ family service)

Who leads it?
We have a dedicated team of adult leaders with youth helpers. A rota operates with 2 adult leaders and 1 youth helper each Sunday.
