Many people never really answer these questions, and life is just a series of yearly events interspersed with various levels of happiness/sadness, successes/failures, and good/mixed/bad choices - followed eventually by the realisation that "I'm not getting any younger". Is this all there is ?

Roughly 2000 years ago, a man whose life would impact billions of people began a 3-year ministry. His life, more than any another, is widely recognised as the most significant event in history. The question we would ask you is this, "have you settled in your own mind where you stand on who Jesus is ?".

Of course, we all think these things sometimes, but it's easy to let the day-to-day concerns take over so that we never make any time to think or talk about them.

If you're prepared to spend a few evenings with us, in comfortable surroundings with like-minded people, we can help you explore these questions.

The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening way. The sessions usually involve:

• Food ! - a light meal together at the beginning of each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other.
• A Talk - usually via a video presentation.
• Chat - discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.

The topics begin with:

• Christianity: Boring, Untrue and Irrelevant?
• Who Is Jesus?
• Why Did Jesus Die?
