About Cliff Park Community Church

Cliff Park Community Church was 'planted' in 1999 out of two local evangelical churches: Gorleston Baptist Church and St Andrew's Anglican Church. The original 30 people felt that God was calling them to reach the people of Cliff Park with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That calling is still in our DNA today.
Indeed we sum up our mission as being: 'To live and to give the good news'

Music GroupEach week we meet for worship, to praise God and to restore him to his rightful place at the centre of our lives. As we gather, we try to be open to what his Spirit wants to say and do amongst us. However, we feel strongly that church services are not an end in themselves. Their purpose is to strengthen our faith and to equip us to live and work amongst people who don't yet know Jesus. That's why everything that happens at Cliff Park Community Church will always be focused on building us up to be God's ambassadors in a world that needs to know Christ as Lord and Saviour. Therefore we encourage children and adults alike to join smaller groups where they can learn about God and what it means to follow Jesus Christ.

On Sundays pre-school children receive their first experience of church in our crèche. School-aged children have their own Kidz Church. Teenagers have Q3 and older children go to an evening Home Group. Adults receive bible-based teaching during the morning service and have the chance to ask for prayer ministry afterwards. During the week, evening and daytime house groups meets for fellowship, bible-study, prayer... and sometimes even fun !
